Many light fixtures are now available using compact
fluorescent lamps. Don’t think of the old style
fluorescents, with their buzz and flicker. The new fluorescents
are available in a variety of light output and color
choices. And fluorescent fixtures are now available
to coordinate with any interior or exterior design scheme.
Fluorescents are available in cool or warm. Warm fluorescents
enhance warmer colors, like warm greys, browns, golds,
reds and wood. Cooler tones, such as cool whites, cool
grays and blues. Some colors, such as taupes and greens
will change with a cool or warm fluorescent. Warm fluorescents
are more like the incandescent light we are more used
to. They enhance a traditional interior and are often
more flattering on skin. Cool fluorescents give a cool,
crisp, bright light. They can give a heighten contrast
to colors and enhance a contemporary or modern interior.

These surface fixtures are designed with
molded trim in a high tech, brushed nickel
finish and a smooth white drop dish style
diffuser. Available in three sizes which
use (2) 48" lamps, (4) 48" lamps or (2)
6" U lamps.
Construction
Housing, cover and ends are die formed of
20 gauge cold rolled steel. Standard mounting
holes and standard wiring knockouts are
included, with an extra 2" diameter center
knockout on the back for wiring entry.
Finish
Housing interior and exterior are finished
in lighting grade white baked gloss enamel
paint.
Diffuser
Lens is a one-piece extruded smooth flat
lens of translucent white 100% virgin acrylic,
.100" thick. The lens is scored mitered
and formed into the box cloud shape. Trim
bands are made of extruded expanded polymer,
with a brushed nickel mylar finish, and
are glued and screwed to the box cloud.
The entire frame/cloud attaches to the housing
with a pre-installed bracket inside one
end and one #8 screw through other end.
Electrical
All units with model numbers ending in ES
are wired with U.L. listed high power factor,
rapid start, Class P, energy saving (ES)
full light output, ballasts, for 120 volt,
60 hertz A.C. operation. Lampholders are
rotating lock, medium bi-pin type.
All fixtures are U.L. listed.

These decorative ceiling fixtures make
up our surface decorative family which include

(H) varieties. The decorative ring and accents

(H) fixture comes standard with a 36"
chain.
Construction
Mounting plate is die formed of 22 gauge
steel. Standard junction box mounting and
wiring holes are included.

Diffuser
The diffuser is frosted white glass with
a swirled alabaster design. Glass thickness
is .218". The diffuser is captured
by the trim ring, and is secured with three
ball-nuts directly to the mounting pan screws.
Electrical
All units are wired with U.L. listed, High
power factor, preheat type, Class P ballasts,
for 120 volt, 60 hertz A.C. operations.
Lampholders are 2-pin GX23 base for 13 watt
lamps only. Power supply connections must
be inside a junction box (not provided).
Provided with 120" wire.

Application
Besa manufactures a wide variety of ceiling
lights, as well as other lighting, featuring
clean geometric shapes available in a variety
of glass finishes. The combination of blown
glass diffusers and aluminum fitters makes
these lights ideal for use in damp locations.
They can be used in rooms that have humid
conditions, such as the bath, or can be
used as exterior porch lights, if protected
from direct rain.
