WAC Lighting Single-Circuit Tracks & Components

WAC low voltage or line voltage track heads come in a variety of lamp sizes and styles. Models are available to fit Halo, Lightolier, Juno Single Circuit and Juno Two Circuit or compatible track systems and may be compatible to fit on existing track installations.

WAC Lighting’s extensive track collection includes hundreds of different models. Whether you are looking for a fixture that has a certain style or fixture that is suited for a specific task, WAC is sure to have the ideal choice. The extensive collection of track fixtures is available in a wide range of designer finishes and lamping options.

WAC Track Lighting is available in three popular formats and is easily installed on drywall, plaster, wood or suspended ceilings. Track may be suspended on W.A.C. suspension rods from a flat or sloped ceiling. Electrical connections are available to supply power anywhere on the run. Track accommodates line or low voltage heads. Quick connect transformers allow fixtures from the Monorail system to be used on all three single circuit track systems. Two end caps and mounting hardware are supplied with each section.

The next step is to decide what you want to accomplish with your track lighting. Take some time to look at the room. What will you be doing there? What light will you need? Is there artwork that you want to draw attention to?

Remember that light directly into your eye is very uncomforTable. Design your lights so that they are not aimed directly at you. Especially keep in mind as you walk into a room or any area you are going to be seated.

Understanding Polarity

(Example Using H Track)

The Two–wire side of an "H" Track has an indicator groove running its length

  • Using a left connector, the track would run with the groove along the outside.
  • Using a right connector, the track would run with the groove along the inside.

Left Connector (HL–LEFT)
• Groove on the Outside Edge
• Contacts on the Outer Angle

Polarity is just a matter of matching ends.

Right Connector (HL–RIGHT)
• Groove on the Inside Edge
• Contacts on the Inner Angle

Using the WAC TBKT Track Suspension Bracket any Halo, Juno, Lightolier or compatible track can be wall mounted. Ideal for picture lighting or wall grazing effects. An effective lighting solution where very high ceilings create an ambient lighting problem.

Track accommodates line or low voltage heads. Quick connect transformers allow fixtures from the Quick Connect system to be used. Select from any Track Head or Quick Connect Track Head.

TBKT Track Suspension Bracket supports track and fixtures. Extends 24" from wall. Use two per 4-foot Length, three per 8-foot Length.

Use two suspension kits for 2' 'and 4' tracks, three kits for 6' and 8' track sections. For power to 2-wire systems, add a live end (LLE) or flexible connector (LFLX) or straight line power connector (LI-PWR). For power to 3-wire or Wide 2-wire systems (J-style), connect with HLE or JLE, HI-PWR or JI-PWR, HFLX or J FLX.

Track Suspension kits can hang the entire track from rods or cables. The canopy can cover an outlet box and provide the power as well as supporting the weight of the track. WAC offers 18", 24", 36", or 48" stems to suspend track lighting.

  • The WAC Track Current Limiter is easy to install and assures compliance to California Title 24 or ASHRAE 90.1 requirements
  • Track Current Limiters are offered in various models to accommodate standard one and two-circuit track systems and their maximum wattage
  • The Track Current Limiter may be mounted as a standard canopy used in place of a Live-end, I connector or L connector
  • If the track is overloaded, the Current Limiter circuit breaker will trip and shut down power to the track
  • Available in maximum wattages of: 120w, 300w, 900w and 1200w
